The debut of the kriya collective will be at the Casa del Prado Theater in Balboa Park, downtown San Diego on August 23rd, 6 PM. 3 pieces, 5 dancers, 20 minutes of moving arts—contemporary dance, yoga, acrobatics.... music by Ali Farka Toure (from Mali, West Africa) & Ry Cooder (famous American slide guitarist), John Frusciante (lead guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Prem Joshua (fuser of Western electronica and traditional Hindu music). Choreography by Kenna Crouch in collaboration with Anna Spalding, Daniel Salerno, Jacqueline Witt and Alex. SHOULD BE FUN ;)
